Most web projects ask you to pay before you have seen anything. I work the other way round. You see the design, then a working build, and you pay at milestones once the progress is real.
It keeps me honest about scope and keeps you in control. If it is not working out, you walk away and only pay for what you keep.

How long does a project take?
A landing page takes a week or two. A full site usually takes a few weeks. You get a realistic timeline in the plan, agreed with the price before anything starts.
What does the price include?
Design, build, copy polish, domain and hosting setup, forms, analytics and testing. The number we agree is the number you pay. If the scope changes, we talk about it first.
What do you need from me to start?
A conversation about what the site needs to do, and whatever you already have: logo, photos, existing copy, examples of sites you like. Missing pieces are fine. I will tell you what matters and what can wait.
Can I make changes to the site myself?
If you are familiar with the tools I use, you can. In practice I tend to make the changes myself, and that is what the hour a month is for. Send the change over and it gets done.
What happens after launch?
Thirty days of QA, included in the price. Any issues or updates that come up in that window, I make. After that I stay on at $150 an hour, with a one hour a month minimum, so the person who built the site is the one who looks after it.
What if I already have a site?
I rebuild it as something any developer can make and maintain, rather than tying it to a provider like WordPress. Nothing goes down until the new site is final.
Do you work with businesses outside your area?
Yes. Most of my work is remote. Video calls, screen shares and regular updates work well.
What is the catch with paying at milestones?
No catch. If you are happy with what you see, you pay for it. If not, I would rather know than take your money.
